Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy

Trader Doors Limited are committed to offering their customers quality products at affordable prices. We do however, recognise that from time to time customers may not be satisfied with their chosen product and will request a refund and/or return.

Whilst we will comply fully with Trading Standards legislation concerning your consumer rights, we must bring to your attention the following points where a refund or return may be declined:

Section 1: Refunds/returns will not be accepted in the following cases

  • If a consumer has been made aware that an item or product has a fault or defect and proceeded with their purchase with this knowledge.
  • Damages a product during installation or uses a third party who damages the product as part of an installation or repair.
  • If a consumer no longer wants the item (eg because it is the wrong size or colour) unless the product has a visual defect not made clear online or in store.
  • If a consumer is unable to provide proof of purchase such as an invoice, order confirmation or receipt

Section 2: Distance Selling statement

Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods aren’t faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’.

Trader Doors Limited will offer a refund to customers if we receive written confirmation from the customer within 14 days of receiving their goods. Any transportation, courier collection or delivery costs associated with the return of the goods in question must be covered at the customers expense.

Customers have 14 days to return the goods to Trader Doors Limited and a refund will be generated within 14 days of goods being received by Trader Doors UK Limited providing they are not in breech of the conditions laid out in section 1 (Refunds/returns will not be accepted in the following cases)

Section 3: Repairs and replacements

The risk to the goods shall pass to the customer on completion of delivery and a signed delivery note will be obtained from the customer or customers chosen representative.

Each customer is given opportunity as part of the delivery process to inspect the product before signing the delivery note themselves and a copy of this will be provided to the customer effectively concluding the handover.

By signing the delivery note, the customer is effectively accepting the product in an acceptable condition. Any faults or damage should be noted by the customer on the delivery note before a signature is entered.

In any case of a fault being brought to light by the customer after the delivery has been concluded; Trader Doors Limited have the right to refuse a return or refund unless it can be proven that a fault was in place at the point of delivery.


Section 4: Warranty/Guarantee Supplier Details

All doors are supplied and offered with guarantee or warranty by Sliders UK Limited, Unit 232 Oldfield Road, Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, Lancashire, PR5 8BG.

In the event of a customer complaint regarding product quality, defect or damage, Trader Doors UK may appoint a Sliders UK Limited representative to handle your complaint – tis does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
